Sometimes, I like to go out for a photo walk. It’s much more fun when you’re with a friend. Tammy and I ventured to the Lower Battery in St. John’s today to take photos of the random things that crossed our path. Getting out for a photo walk is really an exercise in seeing for me. Being free from the pressure of the paid shoot, I can explore and photograph things that often go unnoticed, paying closer attention and exploring the beauty of the little things. It was a sunny day and as you’ll see in the photos, winter is still going strong into spring here on the rock.
To start, we met an affectionate little friend.
Knickers on the line (left) and some interesting moose skull art we found (right)…
Er’ry day we shovellin’.Shot the chair through a window, no B & E offences committed today.
Leftover house paint for the light pole.
Where’s Tammy?
Springcicles… and Tammy :)
Slowly… winter melts away.
Ending the day at Fixed Coffee and Baking on Duckworth Street. Tasty awesome chai lattes, wholesome granola bars, so much Jesus, Jesus everywhere! Also, Furby : )Donna xx
